Thank you for inquiring about our ocean front beach home family rental home located in Ocean Lakes Family Resort in South Myrtle Beach. Ocean Lakes is one of the biggest family resorts in the country. A gated community with 24 hour security ensures your family a calming vacation. LINENS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. We own other ocean view homes in Ocean Lakes House #MH18B which sleeps 12 and is lake front with ocean vistas; and VRB0#1501208/House #1031 our freshly build 6 bedroom next door to this home (1023), and ocean front #`1119, Vacation Rental By Owner#1313785.

This 6-bedroom home features surrounding decks on each floor with beautiful ocean vistas from every point. Each bedroom has its own private entrance to the ocean-view deck. Our home is entirely furnished. There is ample parking for up to 5 cars (Parking fee of $12 per car per day, charged by OL). I rent my golf cart in addition). This is a GREAT home for extended family vacations. We are dog friendly for $100 per dog/per week fee.

The first floor offers a flowing layout with wood floor throughout. There is a outfitted (bring your own food) kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, stove, oven, dishes, and silverware. There is a breakfast bar with four stools. A full bathroom on this floor includes a tub/shower combo and a stacked full-size washer and dryer. The bedroom includes 1 queen bed and a bunk bed set with full on bottom and twin on top. This room also has a SMART tv, closet, and sliders to its own deck with ocean vistas. The living room has a couch and two chairs with ocean vistas along with a SMART tv. The dining room table seats 6 (there is a table on the deck, as well). Finally, this floor has a den/bedroom combo with SMART tv. It holds a full couch with a queen-size pullout. This room also has sliders leading to your private ocean-view deck.

Upstairs has two full baths (tub/shower combo in each). The master has a king size bed, sliders to a private deck with ocean vistas, a SMART tv and a closet. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds, closets, SMART tv, sliders to private ocean-view deck, and dressers. The last bedroom holds a queen size bed and a bunk bed with a full-on bottom and a twin on top. Supplied is a SMART tv, sliders to a private ocean view deck and a closet.

Your typical day may include watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee on your private deck with surrounding vistas of the ocean. If you don’t feel like cooking breakfast, you can drive your golf cart over to Sandy’s Snack Bar where you will find a pretty good southern breakfast for 6 people under $30. Ocean Lakes Family Resort offers mini golf (nominal fee), skate park (complimentary), NEW (seasonal) water slide and water park with lazy river (complimentary to use), and swimming pools (one indoors) with a tot splash zone. The beach is complimentary to use and is manned with lifeguards. The average ocean water temperature in summer is 85 degrees.

There are nightly family activities at the Rec Center (check the calendar for scheduled events). One of the most unique activities our family LOVES is the nightly golf cart parade. Guests decorate their golf carts and slowly drive up and down the main strip by the beach. Each cart you pass the kids do a “high five” with the passing cart. Although a difficult event to describe, once your family does it, you too, will be hooked.
Our family has been visiting here for 10 years in our RV. We adore it so much, we purchased five rental beach homes so your family can experience this hidden gem of a family resort, too.

Your Saturday to Saturday rental (seasonal) in our home will include all the amenities of Ocean Lakes. Our home is a non-smoking, clean, comfortable and secure environment. We supply complimentary wireless internet. We also offer our personal golf cart for rent at $475 per week (seasonal) (must be over21 and licensed to drive). Ocean Lakes also rents golf carts at a rate of $488 per week.

Please note: This is our family home. We prefer to only rent to other families as this is what our home is set up for. We do not rent to anyone under 25 years old or enormous, non-family member groups.

We encourage you to return the same week year after year and we will hold your week up to 13 months in advance. Please contact us if your desired week is already booked on this reservation calendar. We may have another home that is available.
