We know... you have heard this over and over again, "There is nothing like being on vacation in Myrtle Beach!" And we certainly won't dispute that. Now imagine making that vacation even better by staying on the 20th floor of the very esteemed Maisons Sur Mer, 2011, 20th Floor! The vistas from our OCEANFRONT, two bedroom, two full bathroom condo. SIMPLY AMAZING! The accommodations offered in our split-bedroom, 1,400 sq. ft. interior. CHARMING, COMFORTABLE AND SPACIOUS! You will appreciate how the natural light just pours into the rooms.
LIVING ROOM:
Let's start with the expansive view of the northern coastline. It's nothing we need to bring your attention to, as it will captivate you as soon as you walk inside the door! There is enough seating in the living room to match the number of people that the beds accommodate (six). This is no modest living area! Everyone has room to mill about as needed. The living room has direct access to the biggest deck our condo offers. You will be able to see the ocean, the pool and tennis courts from our decks.
KITCHEN/DINING:
Beaming bright, clean and has a pretty good amount of cabinet and counter space! Our galley style kitchen is located between the living room and guest bedroom. There is a bistro style table for two with a view you have to see to believe! Convenient major and modest appliances, along with plenty of housewares make it simple to prepare and savor your culinary creations. Don't feel like cooking? Throw a tasty concoction in the blender and steal away to the humongous deck for a view that will melt away your anxiety faster than your drink! From this eat-in area in the kitchen, there is access to the deck off the guest bedroom and the living room. If you are looking for something a touch more on the "formal" side, we have a impressive dining area with mirrors to reflect the natural light further and provide a handsome view while you dine as well. The round table is also great for people who are card-playing enthusiasts!
MASTER BEDROOM/BATH:
The master bedroom is direct oceanfront! We have a comfortable king bed, an enormous walk-in closet and plenty of dresser space. Need a peaceful moment to yourself? Climb into the chair and read the paper or a good book. We should warn you that the view you get from that seat might distract you! If you are inclined, step out onto the private Juliet balcony that overlooks the oceanfront..
We think that, if Juliet were given a choice, she would much rather have heard the sound of waves gently lapping upon the shore beckoning her (rather than Romeo)! The master bath is one step into the hall across from you. It has a single-sink vanity with a enormous countertop for placing personal toiletries. There is also room in the cabinet under the counter. We have a shower with sliding doors and low step.
GUEST BEDROOM/BATH:
This room is actually more of a master suite. It is cavernous and has a private deck offering the same spectacular view seen from the other deck areas. We have two queen beds, a dresser, TV and an en suite bathroom. There is a second dresser in the entry of the bathroom, a single-sink vanity (also with plenty of counter space and storage under the vanity) and a shower/tub combo with sliding glass doors.
The Maisons Sur Mer is a secure building, complete with a security desk at the entry of the lobby. Conveniences include an oceanfront pool, tennis courts, and a bar/lounge that offers terrific food and drinks to appreciate while looking out to the pool deck and ocean. You can even see Apache Pier, which is within walking distance. Just across the street you will find a great little restaurant that tosses a terrific pizza! There are LOTS of eateries and places for retail and outlet shopping within a few short miles. Drive out a little further in either direction on Highway 17 and hit Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, live theaters, waterparks and many other tourist attractions!
SPECIAL NOTES:
We do NOT recommend having kids ages 5 and under in this condo. The condo is pretty but it is on the 21st floor and our concern is for the safety of the kids.
Please note that some of the Maison Sur-Mer amenities are not available for rental guests' use – but there are no use restrictions on tennis courts, pool, bar or the beach!
**Any available discounts are only applicable to new bookings and do not apply to existing/previous bookings.

Tricks and tips to get the very best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. To get the best value, try shifting your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warm weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some hosts offer rate reductions for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
- Booking websites typically offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines contain coupons for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.
How to choose and book your prefectrental home:
- Start by having your family agree to vacation dates and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. OCEANFRONT-Views From Every Angle-Heated Pool-OnSite Restaurant-Gated Complex has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the property owner before you book the home. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Is your group looking for unique amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
Tips to have a smooth stay:
- Take a copy of the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your .
- Record any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately contact the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of concerns.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and attractions you would have not otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let thieves spoil your trip.
- Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a fantastic time? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
