Tricks and tips to get the optimal rental experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- To get the most suitable rental for your budget, we suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Booking websites often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines contain money saving offers on local shops and restaurants.
Planning and picking your prefectvacation home:
- To start, have your group agree to a vacation week and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. One bedroom ocean front unit - CV 1138 has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is often accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the property manager before reserving the vacation property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.

Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or may be applied to your contract.
Advice for your stay:
- Add the property manager's phone number to your phone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Upon arrival, record any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of problems.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect your property!
- Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
