RECENT GUEST COMMENT: My family and I appreciated our stay at the Myrtle Beach Resort. Bob's condo is very generously decorated, very clean and comfortable. Bob is a very kind person who is painless to deal with. My damage deposit was returned to me in less than a week after our trip. I would recommend Bob's condo to any of my friends. -Tracy, Knoxville, TN

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:
Getting the most from your spending budget:
- Summertime is the most expensive season in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your vacation home in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property management companies typically offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Look for your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guide magazines have coupons for local tours and attractions.
How to choose and book a perfect Myrtle Beach rental:
- Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and choose a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. Hurry! only a few summer weeks left! Ocean Front resort, Beachfront restaurant, has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, email the host before booking the property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what is best for your vacation group.
- Does your family require special amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental home.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
- If your family is vacationing with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly rental. Ask for information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
During your stay:
- We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
- Upon arrival, document any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Record all coorespondence.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Respect your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Lock your rental home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your family have a wonderful stay? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
