Ocean Lakes Family Campground, celebrated their 52nd anniversary in 2023 with thousands of families and campers. The campground is the biggest oceanfront one of its kind on the east coast. The trendy South Myrtle Beach campground has more than 800 campsites and 2,500 +annual lease sites. Vacation rental homes are completely furnished and offer air conditionings, TVs, complete kitchens. Ocean lakes is home to great annual events including Halloweekends, A fall Craft Fair, A patriotic Golf Cart Parade, Beach N Boggie with shag dance lessons and Polar Bear Plunge.

Ocean Lakes is a golf cart community. You have golf cart units available on location. One golf cart is supplied with this rental with an option of a second golf cart.

You may have 2 cars parked at your home. Others will have to park in the overflow tons available at the front of the park.

Once your reservation is paid in full you will receive an e-mail from Ocean Lakes about Express Check in for your cars. Parking is $12 per day per car if you order these ahead of time. If you get them on the day of your check-in they will be $ 15 per day per car. This is a fee paid directly to Ocan Lakes and not the homeowner.

Our guests will have access to many amenities within the Ocean Lakes community.

Security is 24/7 and stringently enforced. You must be on a list and have a pass to enter the campground. The strict entry rules for the campground combined with the many security personnel will make you feel safe at Ocean Lakes.

Parking Permits obtained at the park office allow you authorized entrance and access to amenities in the park during your stay. Car passes are $15 per day per car and must be authorized by the homeowner. They can be pre-ordered using Express Check in and the cost is only $12 per day. Parking passes must be displayed in the windshield for security to observe.

We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the property.

Renters shall maintain the premises in a good, clean, and ready to rent condition, and use the premises only in a careful and lawful manner

Renter is cautioned not to leave trash outside for long periods of time because it attracts animals.

Renters shall behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors respecting Quiet hour starts at 11 PM -7 AM.

Renter agrees that Fireworks and other hazardous materials shall not be used in or around the property.

Renter shall use the property for legal purposes only and other use, such as but not limited to, illegal drug use, abuse of any person, harboring fugitives, etc.; shall cause termination of the rental agreement with no refund of rents or deposits.

Renter agrees that air conditioning shall not be set below 70 degrees and heat shall not be set above 75, and that the fan setting shall be “Auto”. Doors and windows shall be closed when either heat or air conditioning is in operation.

No eating or drinking in bedrooms.

GOLF CART Rules
No one under 21 allowed to drive golf carts,

Please read and understand each item under the golf cart policy and will communicate this to other members in your event.
_____ Do not leave keys in the golf cart when not in use.
_____Do not leave kids in the golf cart without an adult.
____ Golf carts driven after sunset must have lights on and cannot be operated during peaceful hours (11pm to 7am)
____ Golf carts must be operated properly at all times. No reckless driving, no loud or offensive music, no alcoholic beverages are allowed on golf cart.
_____UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN AN UNDERAGED DRIVER DRIVE THE GOLF CART. If a kid is in your lap YOU must have control of the golf cart with hands on the wheel.
_____ If these rules are not obeyed and a ticket is given by Ocean Lakes there are fines up to $1,000 (which will be passed to the renter) which could result in the owner losing golf cart privileges for a year and lost revenue.
