Tricks and tips to get the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:
When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Booking in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies often offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guides which will include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Selecting the best vacation home:
- Begin by selecting your potential vacation weeks and a budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your group requires. Large and spacious house at Magnolia Place MB has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is often accessible on booking pages. If not, call the property manager before booking the home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's a particular Myrtle Beach destination you simply love, browse rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. .
More tips for your visit:
- We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few issues.
- Lock your rental while you are out. Protect your property!
- To ensure that damages aren't linked to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas upon check in. Contact the rental manager right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an excellent source for finding the best local spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Re-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good reviews to inspire future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
