About this Property
- Sleeps 13
- 5 Bedrooms
- 4 Bathrooms
- Private vacation home
- Approximately 1600 square feet
Ours is a 5 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home that sleeps 14 people comfortably. What sets this home apart from other homes in the area is the location on handsome Magnolia Lake and the close proximity to the ocean. It was constructed to maximize the view of the ocean, but it's also on a peaceful cul de sac that is away from the noise of the park. PEACEFUL is the word that describes this home. Fishermen adore that they can fish right from our home. There are 2 enormous decks where you can gather as a group or get away for sunbathing. It is well furnished and all linens are available. There are few other homes in the Ocean Lakes complex that are as clean and well constructed as this one. People who stay here always tell us that this is their favorite home at Ocean Lakes.
Please note that Ocean Lakes charges a parking fee per car. Contact Ocean Lakes Family Campground for more information.

Vacation rental tips:
Getting the most from your budget:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Myrtle Beach. To get the best value, change your family's Myrtle Beach vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property managers offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides which often include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Narrow your Search:
- Start by having your group commit to a vacation week and a budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Quiet Lake House with Spectacular Ocean View has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, contact the property owner before booking the home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks.
- If there's a certain Myrtle Beach beach you love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
- Some rental properties allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.
Some things to know before you go:
- We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
- During arrival, note any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or coffee maker. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents quite a few issues.
- Be respectful. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Lock your vacation home while you're out and about. Protect your property!
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all of your things. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
