How to find the best Myrtle Beach rental experience:
When to visit Myrtle Beach & When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental home:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
- Summertime is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. Book your Myrtle Beach vacation home in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
- Property management companies sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Booking websites often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which often include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Make a plan and pick the perfect Myrtle Beach rental:
- Select dates and budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration you need. Seaside Serenity - A437 Myrtle Beach Resort has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rental home search.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available on booking websites. If not, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the property. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what configuration is right for your vacation group.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Pet fees or costs applied to your invoice.
- Are you looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental
More tips for your visit:
- Store the host's contact information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many problems.
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would at home.
- To make certain damages aren't linked to your family's stay, note any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the host immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave a review! Hosts rely on great ratings to drive future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
