Booking the best vacation property experience:
When to book a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To get the best value, change your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a discount.
- Property management companies usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guides which will include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Make a plan and choose the bestrental home:
- Select a designated group leader, choose your dates, and select a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. The Palace 405 ocean view studio has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is commonly available online. Otherwise, call the host before reserving the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.

- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would back home.
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your family's stay, inspect the property for any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the rental manager right away to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific source for finding the best local spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Double-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to propel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review find their best rental home.
