Spectacularly located right on the banks of the Intracoastal Waterway, this delightfully updated home is a place for calming into the Myrtle Beach lifestyle. Launch the two included kayaks from the dock each morning, host family barbecues in the sea breeze out back, and take calming soaks in the private saltwater hot tub as the setting sun colors the sky above.

This single-story home sits on an broad, waterfront piece of property, one that features a prime Myrtle Beach location. From the deck, you may even catch a glimpse of Bubbles the Elephant splashing in the ICW. So much is close by, including the heart of Myrtle Beach (eight miles), Market Common (nine miles), and a wealth of live entertainment accessible by boat on the ICW.

Whether you're sipping your morning coffee or roasting marshmallows around the firepit at nighttime, it's a joy spending your time outdoors here. It's the ideal setting for taking out your jet skis (there's a jet ski ramp in addition to the boat dock), watching boats come and go from the comfort of Adirondack chairs, and barbecuing on the pellet stove smoker and gas grille. Fish all day and dine on your fresh catch outside on the back deck.

Inside, the home is full of thoughtful upgrades, including a brand-new HVAC system added in 2023. At the heart of the home is an open, light-filled living area bringing together an opulent kitchen (with stainless steel appliances), a dining space, and a living room. There are TVs in all four bedrooms, one of which is a primary suite with an electric fireplace and a huge private bathroom offering a jetted tub and a separate shower.

Getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation property experience:

Sticking to your budget:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To find the best rental within your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Myrtle Beach restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines have coupons for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

How to pick the best rental home in the Myrtle Beach area:

  • Select your vacation week and budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. Waterfront, dog-friendly home on ICW with dock, hot tub, kayaks & great view has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is commonly available on booking pages. If not, email or call the property owner before booking the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what is suitable for your vacation.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you must book a rental that allows animals. Get specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.

During your stay:

  • Add the property manager's information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • To make certain that damages aren't linked to your visit, make note of any problem areas during check in. E-mail the rental manager immediately to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a fantastic source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent ratings to inspire future bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
