Myrtle Beach rental booking tips and tricks:

Finding your perfect rental:

  • Summer is high season in Myrtle Beach. To get the best value, consider shifting your vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warmer weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Filter your search:

  • Choose vacation week and spending budget.
  • Five 2BR\/2BA Suites has 15 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, contact the host before reserving your rental. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.

Tips to have a smooth stay:

  • Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, record any problem areas when you arrive. E-mail the host right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
