Our top Vacation rental home tips:
When to book & When to go:
- To get the most suitable rental within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, tours, and activities.
- The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have discounts for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.
How to select the best vacation home in Myrtle Beach:
- Select a group lead, choose your vacation dates, and select a budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your group requires. Low Floor,Amazing Oceanfront Views,Luxurious Suite has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before you reserve the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.

- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
- If your family is vacationing with pets, you must book a property that allows animals. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
Considerations for your stay:
- Be sure you get the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
- To make sure that damages aren't linked to your stay, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the rental manager right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of concerns.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a great source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Lock your rental home while you're out. Keep your property safe!
- Just before checking out, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
