Tricks and tips for getting the best rental home experience:
Get the most from your rental budget:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Summer time is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To get the most suitable rental within your budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Myrtle Beach restaurants, tours, and activities.
- Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
- Property management companies usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.
- Often, property management companies supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to compel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback.
