Finding the best rental experience:

Getting the best value:

  • Summer is high season in the Myrtle Beach area. To book the best rental home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have coupons for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

Planning and picking yourrental home:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Pool & Golf Course Views: Myrtle Beach Condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available online. If they are not listed, email the property manager before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what is suitable for your vacation group.
  • If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you long to visit, keep an eye out for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly property. Ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Often, property owners charge additional pet fees.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Add the host's phone number to your phone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • During arrival, note any damages to the property and immediately contact the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Keep the property locked while you are out! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a great time? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your property and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
