For an escape to the beach look no further! This efficient and comfortable space is the ideal home base for everything the Ocean Park Resort has to offer.

The big draw to this property is how overly pet friendly it is! Some say it even caters more to dogs than to people. Onsite services include FURology Paw Spa & Retreat offering dog-sitting and grooming services. We also have a great pool area and sundeck for guests to savor. Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Our guests appreciate complimentary blockbuster units during their stay.

Mini Golf - All Oceana Resorts guests receive complimentary play before 7pm for all members of their event. Lost Mine Miniature Golf is located downtown near multiple of our other properties. This course is open seasonally from March through October.

Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are supplied with a package of tickets from local partners. The program provides one complimentary ticket from up to 3 partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the complimentary tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on our property specific websites.

Kids’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grandiose, Camelot and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, Camelot and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowboard community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more! Additionally we host an annual Wine & Cheese reception with giveaways at both Patricia Grand and Bay Watch in mid-February.

Myrtle Beach rental property booking tips:

Sticking to a spending budget:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Myrtle Beach. To book the largest rental home within budget, we suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Owners sometimes offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your family.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guide magazines have offers and deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Choosing and booking your prefect Myrtle Beach rental:

  • Begin by selecting potential vacation weeks and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your family requires. Fifth Floor Oceanfront Snowbird Friendly Condo w\/ Shared Pool\/Hot Tub, WiFi has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach vacation rental search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, call the property manager before you book the rental. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what is right for your trip.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Use these to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you will need a pet-friendly property. Request information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.

Know before you go:

  • Add the host's phone number to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • To make certain damages aren't linked to your visit, inspect for any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the property manager immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome vacationers disrupting your life at home. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • When it's time to leave, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
