New for 2025, new deck/porch. Clean, fresh and up to date. Read our reviews!!! Includes wifi and central AC, some places do not...Recently painted [2021]the entire inside. New appliances, new furnishings, new linens. The golf cart has a new motor, batteries and tires. The place is ready for visitors. ALWAYS INCLUDES GOLF CART. We purchased this property in 2002 as a place to take the kids each summer. My husband and I appreciate the local eateries and shopping. The kids adore the beach, pool and campground recreational activities. The campground has activities for all ages and it is great family fun. We continue to savor our home away from home and now share it with many repeat renters. We include the golf cart with the home, because everybody knows you gotta have one when you're at Ocean Lakes!
2021 update: We've removed a double bed from the master bedroom and replaced it with a desk/vanity. The master suite is much more roomy as a result. We've also added a new couch and recliner, not yet pictured.
We recommend our place for 2 or 3 adults plus kids. We don't recommend 4 adults plus kids.

How to book the best Myrtle Beach vacation rental experience:
Finding your perfect rental home:
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Reserve your vacation home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides have discounts for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.
Make a plan and choose the bestvacation home:
- Begin by selecting the best vacation week and a spending budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration your family needs. Gotta have a golf cart and wifi ~ always included. Sunday to Sunday in Summer. has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available on booking websites. If they are not listed, email the host before reserving the rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property owners charge additional pet fees.
- Are you visiting for a single event? Use a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Add a note with the directions to your phone, and take a printed backup.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many concerns.
- Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
- Upon check-in, make note of any damages to the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take video of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a fantastic stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
