Tips to get the perfect rental experience:

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • Booking your Myrtle Beach vacation rental in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Booking your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Planning and picking the perfectrental:

  • Start by choosing your a vacation week and a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. 7th Floor Caravelle Towers Pools and Beach has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is almost always available online. If they are not listed, contact the property management company before booking your home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Visiting for a single event? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or could be applied to your contract.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Add the owner's contact information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your stay, record any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the host right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your home life. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let crooks ruin your family vacation.
  • Double-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
