Tips and Tricks to get the very best rental experience:
Finding the best value:
- The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
- To get the most suitable vacation home within budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
- Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your group.
- Property managers typically offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
How to choose and book your Myrtle Beach rental:
- Start by having your family decide on date ranges and a maximum budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Sheraton Broadway Resort
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the host before reserving your home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You'll need to determine what is optimal for your trip.
- If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Get information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
- Looking for unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Use these filters to your advantage to find the perfect rental home.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
Tips for a great stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
- Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let thieves ruin your holiday.
- To make sure that damages aren't attributed to your visit, record any problem areas when you arrive. Speak to the host immediately to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the rental a final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property owners rely on great reviews to stimulate new bookings. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
