Vacation rental tips:

Cost saving strategies:

  • Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is an excellent way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which often include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Narrow your Search:

  • Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and select a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Stunning Oceanfront 2bd\/2Ba Condo, Myrtle Beach has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible online. If not, call the host before booking the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches. You will need to work out what configuration is suitable for your trip.
  • If there's a particular Myrtle Beach attraction you long to visit, keep an eye out for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or costs could be applied to your agreement.

Have a great stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your . We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • To make sure that damages aren't linked to your stay, note any problem areas during arrival. E-mail the rental manager right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers disrupting your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on good reviews to stimulate more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
