Getting the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:

Getting the best rental home value:

  • Summer is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Reserve your rental home in the Spring or Fall to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Select a designated group leader, select your vacation dates, and choose a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. MB Renaissance 1117- 2BR\/2BA Oceanfront Condo in Myrtle Beach has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually available on booking websites. If not, email or call the property management company before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what configuration is suitable for your vacation group.
  • If there's a certain Myrtle Beach attraction you are crazy about, look for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you must book a property that allows animals. Ask for information on breed, size, and type requirements. Often, property managers charge additional pet fees.

Advice for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages are not linked to your stay, note any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the host immediately to report any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few problems.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your vacation.
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and scan for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on good ratings to drive future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.
