Myrtle Beach rental home tips:
Sticking to your budget:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
- To find the most suitable rental home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Hosts sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Property managers often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guide magazines which include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Choosing and booking the best Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Begin by choosing your vacation dates and a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Newly Updated Double Queen Suite-Sea Mist 51007 has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If not, reach out to the property manager before you book the vacation home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
- If your family is vacationing with pets, search for a property that allows animals. Get information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, property owners charge additional pet fees.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach attraction you crave, look for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
During your stay:
- Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few concerns.
- Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would back home.
- During arrival, note any issues with the property and immediately contact the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
- When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did you have a wonderful stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
