THERE IS NO BETTER TIME TO VISIT THE BEACH THAN NOW! What are you waiting for? The beach is great anytime of year! Grab your sunglasses and head for the beach!
Is there any better place to vacation than Kingston? There is so much to do at Kingston – take leisurely walks along the beach, go to Apache Pier, walk through the spectacular mature oak and pine landscape or appreciate the marvelous Margate outdoor pool and sauna. Be sure to stop and savor the scenery around the fresh water lake from one of the footbridges. What’s even more amazing about Kingston Plantation is its location – beachfront and central to all the activities that Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach have to offer.
What could make your stay better? How about visiting in Kingston’s premier high-rise… the Margate?!? Our three bedroom/three full bath condo is clean, cheery, comfortably furnished and very roomy. We have you covered for all the room you could need for a huge or extended family – even multiple modest families. Plus, you can enjoy our 80 inch TV in the family room for movie nights! Our oceanview residence has over 2,238 sq. ft. with 518 sq. ft. of deck space overlooking the most elegant beach on the Grandiose Strand, as well as the extremely well-maintained landscape.
In our freshly refreshed condo with new floors, we can accommodate 8 guests in beds and 2 more on the sleeper couch. Each bedroom has its own sliding door that gives direct access to the handsome South Carolina sunshine and fresh ocean air. Here on the third floor, you get a great view and the sense that the waves are close enough to touch! The “08” floorplan has a terrific great room for gathering and socializing. This is a split-bedroom floorplan, so there is plenty of privacy, too! Every bedroom has its own full bathroom, so there are no lines when getting ready to go out or cleaning up after a day at the beach or pool.
The kitchen has a great setup with full-size, stainless steel appliances and is outfitted with modest appliances and housewares to make preparing and appreciating your beverages, snacks and meals convenient. Just off the kitchen, we have a separate laundry/utility room entry to keep from tracking wet and sandy beach wear and toys through the condo. Did we mention that the Margate has a two-tier pool with a rock waterfall, a nice hot tub and gorgeous sun deck? The Margate will not disappoint you!
There are things that our Vacation Rental By Owner guests should be aware of, which are as follows:
• Our guests have access to the outdoor pool located at the Margate. However, only homeowners and Embassy Suites' rental guests have access to the Embassy Suites' Splash Waterpark and the Lazy River. Additionally, only homeowners and Embassy Suites' rental guests have access to the in-door pool and work out facilities at the Sport & Health Club.
• Guests are not allowed to bring family pets to Kingston Plantation. Actual service pets are the only exception. Any pets you see on the Plantation are owned by Kingston homeowners and are registered with the homeowners association.
• There is no smoking in our condo or on the decks. There are also posted restrictions about smoking around the Margate entrances.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. We will be happy to answer them.

Strategies to get the perfect vacation property experience:
Finding your perfect rental home:
- June, July, and August are high season in Myrtle Beach. Booking in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
- Some property managers offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
- Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area visitors guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Planning and picking the perfectvacation home:
- Choose dates and budget.
- Note the number beds and the bed configuration your group requires. OCEANVIEW 308 MARGATE - Bright Beach Decor, NEW FLOORS, & Ready to Accommodate! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Myrtle Beach rentals search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is usually available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the host before reserving the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- Visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
- Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or charges applied to your invoice.
Some things to know before you go:
- Get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- To ensure that damages are not linked to your visit, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. text the property manager immediately to relay any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors bothering your peace. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your family have a excellent stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
