Finding the best rental experience:
Find your best deal:
- In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
- Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Reserve your rental property in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
- Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
- Property management companies often offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
- Many rental management companies supply Myrtle Beach area visitor guides that include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Make a plan and choose the right Myrtle Beach rental home:
- Start by having your family commit to the best dates and a maximum budget.
- Note the number beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. The beautify condo at Patricia Grand has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible online. If they are not listed, contact the property manager before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly property. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
- If there's an individual Myrtle Beach beach you crave, look for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
- Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
Additional considerations:
- Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Add a note with the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental while you are away, just like you would at home.
- During arrival, note any issues with the property and immediately alert the owner. Record all coorespondence.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on great ratings to compel future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
