FAQ:
Q: 'Why the high cleaning fee?'
A: We believe in 2 things: clean rooms and low nightly prices. We actually pay more than we charge to clean the room. By helping to cover the cost of our professional cleanser, we can ensure a clean room supplied with starter amenities and fresh linens each time! Because of the higher cleaning fee, we try to keep our nightly rates lower.
Q: 'Can I Check-In Early?'
A: MAYBE – Our cleaners offer a very limited number of priority check-ins each day that would allow guests to arrive at noon. The cost is $50 and they must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. They are available on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to add this to your booking, please message us and we will provide additional instructions.
Q: 'Can I Check-Out Late?'
A: MAYBE – This depends on the availability of the unit and if there is a person renting the unit right after you. If you would like to Check-Out Late, please message us 1 day in advance and we will let you know what is possible.
Q: 'Are beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, or infant furnishings supplied?'
A: NO - Due to damage/loss of these items in the past, the need to maximize storage space for guests, and the varied needs of guests, we do not provide these items. However, there are numerous great rental companies in the Myrtle Beach area. In Myrtle Beach, you can also rent chairs and umbrellas from the lifeguards on the beach during the summer season.
Q: 'Are bath towels and sheets supplied?'
A: YES – We provide clean sheets for the 2 beds and also 1 bath towel and wash cloth per the occupant. We do not allow bath towels to be taken to the beach, so please make arrangements for beach/pool towels.
Q: 'Are there pool arm bands?'
A: MAYBE - Pool arm bands are only required during peak season. During this time, you should receive one band per person staying in the unit. Please be sure to provide an accurate count when booking or you may not be included with enough.
Q: 'Do I have to clean/make the beds/do the laundry?'
A: NO - You are on vacation! However, we do ask that you treat the property with care so it stays nice for others & follow a few guidelines before you leave: Please empty the refrigerator, bag up your trash & take out any excess that won’t fit in the cans, and wash your dishes before you leave. We do not expect you to clean or do laundry before you check out, but we do ask that you tidy up after yourself with those few items that are not supplied in the cleaning fee.
Q: 'Do you allow family pets?'
A: NO, sorry - Family Animals are not allowed at this resort per our HOA bylaws.
Q: 'Can I smoke in the unit or on the balcony?'
A: NO, sorry – SMOKING OF ANY KIND IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in this unit and on the balcony - no exceptions. It is very costly to have a service remove smoking odors - especially in the short time between guests. If we need to have the unit treated because of the smell of smoke or if we find that you have tampered with the smoke detectors to hide that smoking has occurred, it will result in a minimum $250 charge.
Q: 'Are there pots/pans/dishes?'
A: YES - The kitchen is equipped with the basic items needed for cooking/eating. If there is some specialty modest appliance you appreciate, please feel complimentary to bring it along.
Q: 'Is/Are there food/condiments/coffee filters?'
A: NO - This is a self catering unit. While we will leave condiments and coffee filters in the cupboard that prior guests leave behind, we can’t guarantee that those things will be in the unit. Other types of food items left behind are disposed of at the checkout cleaning.
Q: 'Are there any hidden costs?'
A: NO - There are no required 'surprise' costs or resort costs. What you pay when you book is all you will pay for your stay.

Strategies to get the very best vacation rental experience:
How to get the best value:
- Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer is high season in Myrtle Beach. Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
- Booking websites typically offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Look for your local Myrtle Beach area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines have offers and deals for nearby tours and attractions.
Finding the perfect vacation rental in Myrtle Beach:
- First, have your group decide on vacation dates and a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. *Turtle Myrtle* Condo w\/ Ocean Views has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, call the property owner before you book your rental. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your vacation group.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you will need a pet-friendly property. Get information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
- Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to find nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Take a copy of the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few difficulties.
- Lock your rental while you're away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- Document any damages to the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute is filed.
- Respect your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent reviews to compel more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will will be grateful for your review find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
