Booking the best Myrtle Beach vacation home experience:
When to reserve a Myrtle Beach rental & When to go:
- Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- To find the most suitable rental home within your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a discount.
- Property managers typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Myrtle Beach area travel guide magazines which often include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Myrtle Beach area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Choosing and booking your prefectrental:
- First and foremost, have your group decide on vacation dates and a max budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration you need. NEW Direct Oceanfront Beautiful Decor Monterey Bay has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the host before you reserve the property. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to work out what configuration is suitable for your vacation family.
- Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or charges might be applied to your agreement.
- Visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. .
Considerations for your stay:
- Get the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- During check-in, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the host. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible resource to find the best local scenic spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Just before checking out, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
- After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to inspire new bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
