Rental home tips:

How to get the best value:

  • To find the best value, change your family's Myrtle Beach trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Myrtle Beach vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • In the Myrtle Beach area, The sooner you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Myrtle Beach visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain deals for local tours, shops, and attractions.

Choosing and booking the bestrental home:

  • Select vacation week and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. B410 At Myrtle Beach Resort: Where Relaxation Meets the Ocean has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property management company before you book the rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what is right for your vacation.
  • If there's an individual Myrtle Beach destination you are crazy about, look for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask your host about pet restrictions before booking.

More tips for your visit:

  • We recommend storing the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure no damages are attributed to your family's stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas during arrival. Contact the rental manager immediately to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often a fantastic source for finding the best local attractions.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • On check-out day, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't leave anything behind. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a terrific vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
